Metalware production is aimed at different products, and a large part of it is wire. If statistics are taken into account, a total of 60% of the hardware market is wire. In turn, wire is divided into classes and other characteristics, but all of them should comply with GOST 2333-80 standard. According to this standard, a wire is considered a cross-sectional shape of a wire. The shape may be different, rectangular, square, round, oval, and others.
Also according to the standards, any such product must have a diameter, which is divided into groups. The first group includes wire diameters up to 0.10mm, whereas the 9th group includes wire with a diameter over 8mm. The production process is carried out in several stages, the main one being drawing. For those who do not know, drawing is metal treatment by pressure, where metal is pulled through a drawing wire several times.
