There are many types of wire available today, each with its own scope of application and compliance with standards. But we offer to buy BP-1 wire, which is fully compliant with GOST 6727-80 (standard for reinforced wire). Generally, reinforcing wire can be of two classes:

  • BP-1 wire;
  • wire BP-2.

Both of them have the same purpose - reinforcement of reinforced concrete.

We offer to buy in bulk just the first type, because this is a high-quality steel wire, which, first of all, is created for reinforced concrete structures with normal tension. That is, this product is characterized by high strength, which in turn has been achieved due to the fact that the wire is carbon and cold drawn. In terms of its characteristics and in contrast to BP-2 wire, the product presented here is a simple reinforcing wire. Low-carbon steel is considered the main component of the product. We produce only the best wire in Ukraine because during its manufacture we use wire rods as per GOST 14-15-193. The company "TEAM-METIZ" manufactures all steel products presented in the online shop by ourselves, so you can be sure of the quality of the products.

DESCRIPTION OF VR-1 WIRE

It is no coincidence that the abbreviation BP appears in the name, meaning that the product is of the ribbed type. Manufacturing is done on better machinery so that finished coils of 950 to 1,050 kg can be produced. The coiling is carried out in such a way that the wire does not get tangled. Our product also complies with the requirement that each coil has only 1 strand.

With regard to properties, the wire must be free of cracks, splitting, and sinks. The requirements for the wire allow for slight rust and not deep dents. But rest assured that our BP-1 wire will not have any visible defects. The product catalogue offers several different versions of the wire and they are mainly distinguished by their diameter. The diameter starts at 2.5mm and goes up to 5mm. For construction, the wire with a diameter of 4 millimeters is most commonly used; it is also widely used for the manufacture of meshes for reinforced concrete structures.
